The chambers of commerce have many committees comprised of volunteers. These committees work to achieve various goals of the chambers, plan and host events, establish programs and provide numerous valuable services to the chamber members. Serving on a committee is a wonderful way to not only be involved with the chamber, but to network, meet new people and to contribute to bettering the business environment in the Cedar Valley. The following committees currently operate within the chambers:
Annual Celebration Task Force

GCVA Government Affairs Committee

Goal: To positively affect local and state public policy to the general benefit on the business climate of the Cedar Valley through examination of issues, pursuing a coordinated legislative agenda and coordination of activities with the Cedar Valley Coalition for action at the federal level.
